Defiance Hospital is a member of ProMedica, mission-based, not-for-profit health and well-being organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio

We designed our hospital to promote a healing environment for all Defiance community members. Our facility was constructed in 2002, with state-of-the-art medical technology and access to some of the most experienced and talented medical professionals in our region. We’re a critical-access hospital and accredited by the Joint Commission, the industry leader in setting health care standards.

Our campus features an accredited Chest Pain Center, Level III trauma center, and a professional medical office building where community members can access primary and specialty care providers to help address their unique health care needs.
