Join fellow business professionals from the Defiance community at an informational luncheon. Doors open at 11:30 am, with a buffet lunch, and the presentation begins around 12:10 pm. The event concludes by 1 pm.


About our Keynote Speaker:

Phil Buell joined Superior Credit Union in Lima, Ohio as President/CEO in March 2003. While at Superior, the credit union has grown from $114 million to $1.9 billion serving over 100,000 members. He began his 30-year credit union career at Midwest Community FCU as a Lending Manager, progressing to the Vice President of Lending position and President/CEO.

He presently serves on the Board of Lima Memorial Health System, the Greater Lima Region Board, Port Authority of Allen County, Allen Economic Development Group, Corporate One Federal Credit Union Board, and Pandora-Gilboa School Board. Phil also serves on several Credit Union Service Organization Boards including Superior Financial Solutions, Mahalo Banking and Superior Title.

He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Toledo with a major in economics. He is also a graduate of Credit Union National Association Management School and is a Certified Credit Union Executive. He lives in rural Putnam County near Pandora, Ohio with his wife Cheryl and their twin sons.
